The Speranta Center was opened on 15 September 1998 as a pilot project of the ASCHF (Association for the Support of Children with Physical Disabilities).
On January 21, 2000 it was officially registered as an independent national organization.
The mission of the organization was to create opportunities for the growth, development and exploitation of each child’s potential to become a full-fledged member of society – “Everyone has the potential to just discover it.”
MAJOR PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION:
Prevent the institutionalization of children with disabilities, especially children with severe disabilities of the locomotor system and their integration into society.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION:
Multifunctional, educational recovery of children with disabilities
Social and educational integration of children with disabilities
Training and professional training
Consultation and recommendation of an individualized rehabilitation program
Prepare and train parents or guardians to become co-therapists of the children they have in their care
Ensure children who can not attend the school with instruction according to the school curriculum
Searching for trolleys, orthopedic materials and other equipment necessary for the recovery of children with disabilities
Creating optimum conditions for the development of children / young people with disabilities by looking for supporters or guardians for their families
Support parents’ initiatives to create organizations and day care center
Diversification of information
Informing the general public about the problems of people with disabilities
